We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, make a booking, or contact us for support. This includes your name, email address, phone number, payment information, and any communications you send us.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, send transactional and promotional communications, and comply with legal obligations. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
All payment information is processed by Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment processor. Butler stores only a tokenized reference to your payment method — we never store raw card numbers on our servers.
When you make a booking, your payment is held in escrow by our payment processor until you confirm the job is complete. Transaction records are retained for tax and legal compliance purposes for up to 7 years.
You may access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings. To request full data deletion, contact privacy@butler.app. We will respond within 30 days.
